If the car is connected to a charging station, the charging process must be finished before you can start your ride.
How it works:
Use the app to book the car as usual and click on “End charging process”.
Disconnect the cable from the car first. Afterwards, confirm the process via the app.
Now you can remove the cable from the charging station.
Make sure you put the MILES charging cable back into the trunk.
You can now start your ride. Safe trip!
If the cable cannot be disconnected after charging, there are two further options to release the plug:
There is a release button on the instrument panel of the driver's door. You can recognize it by the padlock symbol.
Press the button & disconnect the cable from the charging port afterwards.
Still impossible to disconnect the cable? You can find a small grey flap on the front right side of the trunk. Turn the black lever to the right to open it. Behind it, you will find the emergency release.
The emergency release is a neon-green strap. Pull the strap one single time. Disconnect the cable afterwards.
Remember to close the flap after you have disconnected the cable.
