The same applies to parking as to driving: Please always adhere to the valid road traffic regulations! ☝️
In addition, we have summarized the most important rules you need to bear in mind for parking with MILES:
❌ You may not park here:
- In multi-story car parks, parking garages, or any other covered parking facility, even if they are publicly accessible.
- In areas of residential parking only (exception: Munich, Stuttgart & Düsseldorf).
- In parking lots with time restrictions that come into effect within 48 hours (see also our General terms and conditions) of the vehicle being parked (e.g. limited parking from 7 a.m. on weekdays). Please note that there may be local exceptions.
- In designated parking spaces for e-vehicles (except for our own e-cars, which are connected to the charging station).
- In no-parking areas that are marked as red in the app.
- Car sharing parking spaces of other companies.
⏱ Possible stopovers (pausing your ride) if you cover the costs of parking yourself:
- Public parking spaces outside the business area
- Private parking spaces (e.g., supermarkets or train stations, incl. parking disc!)
✅ Free parking within the business area:
- In public parking spaces, both with and without parking management.
- Parking areas where it is indicated that you can park there as a resident, as well as with a parking ticket.
- In our designated parking lots at the airports in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne-Bonn, Stuttgart, Frankfurt am Main, and Düsseldorf (Important: L & XL vehicles are not allowed to park at the airport).
- In parking lots from our partner platforms: Jelbi in Berlin and hvv switch in Hamburg.
- MILES parking hubs (marked with a “P” on the map in the app)
- Car sharing parking areas marked with the traffic sign VZ 1024-21 (“Car sharing vehicles free”) - provided they are not restricted to a specific provider.
