During your rental, we might temporarily hold your saved payment method (this is called pre-authorization).
💡 Heads-up: The amount and frequency of the pre-authorization depend on your selected rate and current usage, so they may vary.
What happens at the end of my rental?
It depends on how you pay for your trip:
- Paying entirely with your saved payment method:
→ The pre-authorization is offset against your final invoice, which might show as two separate transactions. - You've got enough MILES credit:
→ The full pre-authorization will be canceled. Easy-peasy. - You've got some MILES credit:
→ Part of the invoice is covered by your credit, and the remaining amount is charged to your payment method. The unused portion of the pre-authorization is canceled.
