Lost item
If you have forgotten a personal item in the car, please contact us via email or our chatbot. You can find the chat icon on our website and in the FAQ. Please ensure that functional cookies are enabled so that the icon is displayed to you.
In order to help you as soon as possible, we need the following information from you:
- License plate number
- Date
- Location/street where you ended your rental
Info: If you don't remember the license plate number, go to the main menu in your MILES app. Under the section 'Trips' you can search for the ride and all the corresponding details.
Good to know:
- If customers find items in a vehicle and inform us about it, we ask them to place the lost property in the glove compartment or the trunk of the car.
Found item
You've found a personal item in a MILES?
- One good deed every day - Put the lost property in the glove compartment or in the trunk, where you would usually find the replacement wheel. This way, the owner has a chance to get his lost item back. Alternatively, you can drop it off at the lost and found office of your MILES city.
Afterwards, also in this case, please send us a message via email (hello@miles-mobility.com) or via our chatbot with the following information:
- License plate number
- What did you find? Brief description?
- Where did you put the item? Glove compartment, trunk, or lost & found office in your city?
Please note:
- MILES is not liable for forgotten belongings.
- Please always make sure that you have taken out all of your personal belongings before ending your rental.
